SNAP Chicago June 20

Loved the book. Love the idea:
This year's SNAP Chicago will be a south side adventure. As some of you know, SNAP Chicago has become an STA tradition. It is a way for us to get together and express ourselves and our interests both photographically and verbally. The idea is simple. Get a bunch of designers together and have them use their eyes and ears to express themselves. It's a simple and uncomplicated day. We meet for breakfast then split up and photograph the area. Then we meet for lunch, download our photos, and – voiles – laugh and talk about our experiences.

Elements of Photography

Adam Ekberg

Looking for something to do this weekend? I was thinking about checking out this opening at the MCA. Now that Chicago summer festival season is underway I want to avoid the crowds and see me some art. Now if they would only serve corn dogs and funnel cakes...

David Schalliol

David Schalliol is Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Chicago (and a good photographer, too). I really like his isolated building series. Also check out David's Flickr photostream.
